Hometown

I grew up in Maine but consider the inner mountain west to be my home. Out west I’ve lived in Montana and Arizona. I’ve been in the Orlando area for four years.

My family, nature, conservation, hiking, reading, movies, and (of course) writing.

Pamela on Writing

Writing needs to come from the heart. I don’t mean in a sappy sentimental way, but in a way that is honest. Writing that comes from the heart is driven by something that the author feels strongly about, is struggling with, or genuinely wants to learn more about. If personal interest in the subject matter is there as a foundation of engagement then there will always be good things to work with and the writing will get better.
