Our
KnightOWL: Online service
consists of synchronous online
text-based one-on-one interaction.
Its technical foundation is instant messaging software which allows consultant and writer to communicate
one-on-one with each other, in a
secure environment, while
they perform other computer-based tasks.

You can now schedule KnightOWL appointments through our Online Scheduler. Online and Phone consultations are scheduled by appointment only. When scheduling an Online or Phone appointment in the Online Scheduler, look for “KnightOWL Phone” or “KnightOWL Online” where the consultant’s name usually appears.

KnightOWL: Phone
For KnightOWL: Phone consultations, you’ll want to
1. E-mail the paper to the consultant as a Microsoft Word attachment at webuwc@mail.ucf.edu well before your scheduled consultation. The consultant will have access to your paper there and will retrieve the paper when you begin the consultation.

Call the UWC at (407) 823-2197 a couple minutes before your scheduled appointment time. You will be transferred to your consultant.
KnightOWL: Online
For KnightOWL: Online consultations, you’ll want to

Sign into our KnightOWL chat portal at the scheduled appointment time. You will complete the pre-chat survey before beginning your consultation.
